Latest Grants – 32 New Grants Awarded

The Aziz Foundation has rounded off its grant making work in 2017 by awarding more than 30 grants in recent months. The Foundation is pleased to be supporting projects and organisations delivering life-enhancing and exciting work across the country in the shape of short videos documenting the history of Black Muslims, a coding club for young girls, a collaborative project that gives publishing opportunities to refugees with a background in journalism and much more.

In the last round of funding in 2017 the Foundation awarded grants worth £288,990 to the following organisations:

  • Race Equality First- Asylum Seeker and Refugee Support Group
  • Notre Dame Refugee Centre- Extending the Notre Dame Refugee Service
  • English for Action- Stand Up to Hate Crime
  • TEAMS- Refugee and Asylum Seekers Support Group
  • Lateef Project- Embedded Adult Islamic Counselling Services
  • Basaira Elderly Centre- Basaira Elderly Centre
  • Hopscotch Asian Women’s Centre- In Touch and Engaged Project
  • Grenfell Muslim Response Unit- Grenfell Muslim Response Unit
  • Save the Children- Children’s Communities
  • Voice of Youth- VOY Positive Deviants
  • Belief in Mediation and Arbitration- Faithful Dispute Resolution
  • Drum Roll H.Q.- E.A.K. Coding Club, Empowering Girls
  • Islamic Society of Britain- Empowering Muslim Youth
  • Super Being Labs- Refugee App
  • Baroness Warsi Foundation- BWF Social Change Makers
