New Grants For Individual Artists Available

08 December

We are pleased to announce our first Grants for Individual Artists, open to those working with the Aziz Foundation’s target disadvantaged communities. Individual artists can apply for up to £5,000 to support a portion of a project, the whole cost of a project, or the artist’s own professional development.

The aim of the Aziz Foundation Grants for Individual Artists is to support artists from, or working with, disadvantaged communities to tell their own stories and set their own narratives to create, display and perform their art, especially when their art will bring disadvantaged communities together.

To be eligible to apply, you must be:

  • Resident in the UK.
  • Aged 18+
  • Working on an artistic project or working on your own artistic development.
  • Working with at least one of the Aziz Foundation’s target disadvantaged communities (Muslim communities, Black British communities, Gypsy, Roma & Traveller communities or White working class communities).
  • Able to demonstrate a successful track record of working with creative partners and audiences.
  • We are unlikely to offer the Aziz Foundation Grants for Individual Artists to an application who has already been in receipt of an Aziz Foundation grant.

The deadline for applications is 11pm on Monday 8th January. Please see our main Grants for Individual Artists page for details on eligibility, guidelines and how to apply.
