The Aziz Foundation is pleased to announced two more six-month internships at the Independent and Evening Standard, respectively, for exceptional British Muslims looking to develop a career in Journalism.
The interns will have the opportunity to work with senior journalists to gain experience in research, all types of journalism, social media and a range of in-depth projects.
Doug Wills, Editor Emeritus, said:
“We are delighted to be working togetherwith the Aziz Foundation to advance the Evening Standard’s diversity in journalism internship programme. By partnering with the Aziz Foundation, we hope to support more British Muslims in their training to become journalists and encourage more talented young people from diverse backgrounds into the industry.”
The Aziz Foundation is committed to supporting British Muslims into the Journalism industry and increasing their representation, alongside uplifting and strengthening underrepresented British Muslim communities.
The deadline to apply for the internships is 10 January 2022, and the positions will be remunerated at London Living Wage.
