Saadia Mahmood

Saadia previously ran the Foundation’s grants programme, supporting a range of UK-based organisations and projects and exploring community-owned and innovative practices in development.

She now leads on legacy grant work alongside the financial management of the Foundation’s scholarships programme and Scholarships Plus, under which she is developing internship opportunities for Aziz scholars and alumni in the Foundation’s priority areas of Law, Media and Policy.

Previously, Saadia has worked in the civil service for the Charity Commission and the Department for International Development, and in the charity sector including for the Muslim Charities Forum and other charitable foundations.
