Lucy Cavendish College is proud to be one of the most diverse colleges in Cambirdge. In terms of the College's demography, 46% of students identify as non-white and 25% are the first in their family to attend university.
The College has a narrower awarding gap compared to the rest of the sector. It is committed to providing support through its flagship Academic Skills Programme, which includes workshops on studying effectively at advanced levels, public speaking and presentation skills.
All staff undergo compulsory annual training on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and on Understanding Unconscious or Implicit Bias. Race Awareness courses is also part of this mix.
The College also runs a Careers, Employability and Enterprise Programme, incorporating the Future Global Leaders Programme, which is free for Masters students receiving scholarships.
