The Aziz Foundation is partnering with the Asylum Reform Initiative (ARI) to offer a twelve-month fellowship within the team behind Together With Refugees, the broad-based UK-wide coalition campaigning for deep change in the UK’s approach to
refugees.

The ARI is an alliance of leading refugee charities who work in collaboration to secure deep, long-term change in the UK’s refugee and asylum system. Founded in 2020, the ARI is made up of British Red Cross, Citizens UK, Freedom from Torture, NACCOM, One Strong Voice, Rainbow Migration, Refugee Action, Refugee Council and Scottish Refugee Council.

The successful candidate will be organising public campaign activities on a national and local level, helping change the public and media narrative on refugees through media promotion and digital campaigning, and assist in building the coalition through coordination and action planning.

The postholder will have lived experience of a Muslim background and knowledge of Muslim communities, a commitment for working for social change and justice, and the ability to work in a small indisciplinary team.

Application deadline: 4PM, Friday  27 August. Please apply via the Aziz Foundation’s portal. For more information, visit the Internships Programme webpage
