Sara Taleghani

I am a London-based Director, Writer and Photographer. Born in Ireland to Iranian immigrant parents, my diasporic background shapes my creative voice and my commitment to authentic representation. My work centres identity, belonging and emotionally grounded storytelling that foregrounds underrepresented voices.

By joining the NFTS Finding Your Voice course, I hope to refine my screenwriting voice and develop industry-ready narratives rooted in lived experience. I aspire to build a career as a writer-director who tells complex, authentic stories about British Muslims that challenge stereotypes and uplift my community, while creating opportunities for Muslim creatives in the film and TV space.
