A BAFTA voting member, he brings a breadth of expertise spanning content creation, strategic advisory and stakeholder engagement. He has advised on story and cultural authenticity for major international productions, supporting content development that resonates with global audiences.
Sajid has served as a jury member for leading international film festivals and as part of the BAFTA Awards jury, reflecting his recognised expertise and judgement within the industry.
As Founder of the charity UK Muslim Film and Festival Director of the Muslim International Film Festival, he engages with a broad network of industry stakeholders, including broadcasters, studios, policymakers and emerging talent - operating at the intersection of culture, representation and industry development.
He was awarded an MBE for services to diversity and inclusion in the film and television industry, and is known for advising organisations on narrative, cultural insight and communication strategy in complex and high-profile environments.
