I arrived in Britain aged fourteen as a Somali refugee, barely speaking English. By the time I finished school, I had failed my GCSEs with flying colours. After working in industrial bakeries that made Mordor look like Disneyland, I ran to college and restarted my education at Entry Level 1. Years later, I graduated with First-Class Honours and became a Solutions Architect, Alhamdulillah.
Through Oxford’s MSc, I hope to deepen my expertise in architecture, cloud, AI, and sustainability. I aim to lead ethically, build solutions that benefit wider society, and help British Muslims thrive in technology.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that the most beloved people to Allah are those most beneficial to others. May Allah make us among them.
