Preferred Partners in Focus:

Homerton College places diversity and inclusion at the heart of its institutional strategy, The Homerton Way. The College seeks to become a beacon of inclusiveness, having hosted symposiums on reimagining DEI in the new higher education context.

The College's approach is exemplified by initiatives such as the Changemakers Programme - training students to make a difference in the world - and 'Homerton for Homerton', led by two graduates, in which current students volunteer to make social impact in Hackney.

The College aspires to lead in postgraduate widening participation, and has been closely involved with the Oxbridge Close the Gap programme.

Every member of Homerton staff complete Unconscious Bias training, while Postgraduate Community Workshops have been mandated for all postgraduate students, covering cross-cultural awareness, anti-racism, allyship and Islamophobia. The College is also home to the Homerton Anti-Racist Reading Collective.
