I am a Scottish born Pakistani Muslim poet, documentary filmmaker, creative facilitator and multidisciplinary artist.
My debut pamphlet I Don’t Know How To Forgive You When You Make No Apology For This Haunting was published by Rough Trade Books in 2020 and my poems have featured in Poetry London, The Rialto, & Other Poems.
I have lectured and performed in the UK and internationally, most recently as part of Visible Justice collective at the ICA and the Tate. I am passionate about facilitating and curating creative space for overlooked communities and amplifying voices facing erasure. I have worked in partnership with Women of the World Festival, Glasgow Women’s Library and Edinburgh International Book Festival.
