MA HISTORY OF ART AND ARCHAEOLOGY, SOAS UNIVERSITY OF LONDON

I am an artist and writer with a background in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, exploring how to regain agency over Middle Eastern heritage from the archives, in order to reinvent identity.

Working across the arts sector, I re-conceptualise what heritage can entail, intertwining cultural memory, Arab-futurism, and surrealist principles through painting, textiles, and publications.

I hope to expand my research, working with archives and institutions through my masters degree at SOAS in History of Art and Archaeology.
