Dr Hina J. Shahid

Hina is a GP and Clinical Lead in London, Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London, GP Tutor at Queen Mary University of London and Chair of the Muslim Doctors Association & Allied Health Professionals CIC. She qualified with Distinction in Medical Sciences from University College London (UCL) with first prize in Epidemiology, Psychology and Sociology.

She has a BSc in Pharmacology and MSc in Health Professions Education from UCL and an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where her dissertation was part of a UN project examining the socioeconomic determinants of chronic disease among Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Her current research focuses on health inequalities among British Muslims.
