MPHIL DATA INTENSIVE SCIENCE, WOLFSON COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE
I am a Mathematics graduate from the University of Cambridge and an incoming MPhil student in Data Intensive Science at Wolfson College. Through the course, I hope to deepen my expertise in machine learning, statistical modelling and research computing, preparing for a career in responsible artificial intelligence and quantitative research. I aim to use this expertise to develop transparent technologies and ethical financial tools that benefit British Muslim communities and wider society. At Cambridge, I served as Co-President of the Bangla Society and Vice-President of the Ethical Finance Society, leading widening-participation, charity and Islamic-finance initiatives. The MPhil will provide the advanced technical training, research experience and network needed to turn these ambitions into practical, socially responsible impact.
