MA EDUCATION LEADERSHIP (IN SERVICE), UCL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION
It is both an honour and a privilege to be awarded a scholarship from the Aziz Foundation. I intend to use this opportunity to deepen my understanding of educational leadership, research and policy, with a particular focus on challenging the disadvantages faced by young people in underserved communities.
Through my studies, I plan to engage critically with the policies that shape young people’s experiences of education and explore how research can inform meaningful, lasting change. My ambition is to help create a more equitable education system in which every student, regardless of their background, has greater access to high-quality teaching, academic success and opportunities for their future.
Having already gained extensive experience in education and middle leadership across different academy trusts in England. I have seen first-hand how policy decisions can affect students, teachers and school communities. I plan to combine this professional experience with academic research to influence educational policy, strengthen school practice and advocate for those whose voices are too often overlooked.
I look forward to contributing to the Aziz Foundation community while continuing my work as an educational leader committed to improving outcomes and expanding opportunities for young people.
