LLM LEGAL PRACTICE (SQE 1 & 2), UNIVERSITY OF LAW

As a proud British Muslim, I’m passionate about raising Muslim voices in the corporate legal sector. With the support of the Aziz Foundation, I’ll soon begin the LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) course at the University of Law, the final stage to qualify as a solicitor. I’m currently on track to complete my two years of solicitor-qualifying work experience by the end of 2025.

I work as a Global Real Estate Paralegal at Eversheds Sutherland LLP, where I lead international transactions across the EMEA and APAC regions. Being in a role where Muslim representation is limited has made me more determined to push for better visibility in the profession.

Giving back to the community has always been a priority for me. I’ve built a successful henna business since the age of 16. I also mentor aspiring Muslim lawyers and volunteer with organisations that support women and under-represented groups in law. While I’ve been honoured with awards for my outreach, my greatest fulfilment comes from breaking barriers, both for myself and for the next generation of British Muslims in law.
