MSC NATURE, SOCIETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL GOVERNANCE, JESUS COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD

My identity as a Bangladeshi Muslim has fuelled my passion for exploring the intricate connections between humanity and nature: a relation that becomes more vital as we face the challenges of the climate crisis.

Over the past few years, I've contributed to impactful projects like the Living Deltas Research Hub, dedicated to enhancing climate resilience in vulnerable delta regions. Through these experiences, I have become convinced that addressing environmental issues provides an avenue through which to confront the whole spectrum of inequalities, spanning local communities to the global scale.

With my master's degree, I aim to further my expertise on the dynamic relationships between nature, society and politics, empowering me to champion Muslim and minority voices in environmental dialogues.
