Anaam Blue

Anaam Abdullahi is a recent LLB graduate and prospective LLM/SQE candidate at the University of Law, with a strong interest in immigration law. Her experience with Detention Action and Bail for Immigration Detainees (BiD) involved supporting refugees and migrants in Immigration Removal Centres and prisons.

Currently, she is interning at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) in the legal department, where she is exploring the legal complexities of global health and its impact on marginalised communities.

Anaam believes that the Aziz Foundation Scholarship is crucial for advancing her legal education and continuing her advocacy for underrepresented communities. This support is vital, as it will enable her to pursue an LLM/SQE at the University of Law, which would otherwise be financially unattainable. The scholarship will allow her to deepen her understanding of immigration law and global health legalities, equipping her with the skills to make a significant difference.

Anaam is deeply grateful for the opportunity to further her studies and make a meaningful impact on the lives of marginalised populations through this scholarship.
