BPC LLM, UNIVERSITY OF LAW
I’m pursuing the BPC/LLM at the University of Law with the aim of qualifying as a barrister. I am passionate about advocacy and see it as a powerful tool to amplify the voices of those who are often unheard. Having worked with barristers and supported clients through the Islamophobia Response Unit, I have seen how access to justice can transform lives and how often that access is out of reach for many in our communities.
Alongside my legal work, I have volunteered with Muslim charities and witnessed the structural and social challenges British Muslims continue to face. I hope to use my legal skills to serve the Ummah and help remove barriers to justice not for recognition, but for the sake of Allah. For me, this path is about using what I’ve been given to benefit others and contribute to the wellbeing and dignity of our community.
By combining my passion for advocacy with my commitment to public service, I hope to increase representation within the legal profession and ensure that legal advice is accessible, culturally competent, and truly in service of the people who need it most.
I am incredibly grateful for this scholarship, which has removed a significant financial barrier and allowed me to fully dedicate myself to the rigorous training required to become a barrister. Beyond the practical support, this scholarship has reinforced my vision to use advocacy as a service to benefit others. It has given me the space and confidence to focus wholeheartedly on developing the skills, knowledge, and integrity needed to make a meaningful impact in the legal profession.
