The Aziz Foundation is delighted to announce our new partnership with Bridging the Bar.

Founded in 2020, the charity is committed to tackling diversity at the Bar and increasing equality of opportunity within the legal profession across all underrepresented groups.

Bridging the Bar aims to bridge the gap between candidates from non-traditional backgrounds and the skills, experience and networks required to develop a career at the Bar.

As well as providing work experience, Bridging the Bar is particularly focused on supporting applicants who are statistically underrepresented in the beginning stages of establishing a career in the Bar and even after they have secured entry into the profession.

Mentoring, personal development workshops and access to resources are offered to students that will assist them to increase their chances of securing pupillage while also preparing them for professional life at the Bar.

Bridging the Bar said:

“We are proud to announce our new partnership with The Aziz Foundation. They share our goal of creating equality of opportunity at the Bar and are committed to helping us achieve this, starting by becoming our newest partner!”

The Aziz Foundation is committed to supporting British Muslims in the Bar and increasing their representation, alongside uplifting and strengthening underrepresented British Muslim communities.
