Hiera Zeib

I am currently undertaking a Level 5 Diploma in Journalism at the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). Through this course, I aim to build strong reporting skills, with a particular focus on amplifying underrepresented voices from within marginalised communities.

My aspiration is to pursue a career in journalism that contributes to a more inclusive media landscape. The NCTJ qualification will equip me with the industry-recognised skills and ethical grounding necessary to thrive in a newsroom and produce impactful, balanced journalism.

I have a strong interest in research and investigative work, and I am passionate about amplifying the voices of British Muslims and shedding light on the challenges and contributions of our communities. I am very excited to start my course.
