Muslim Friendly Universities Partnership Network Funding Competition Announced

We are proud to launch the MFU Partnerships Network Funding Competition - a key milestone in the evolution of our Muslim Friendly Universities (MFU) Programme.

This competition marks a bold step forward in building a sector-leading Muslim Friendly Universities Network: a collaborative, cross-sector infrastructure supporting British Muslim students and staff across higher education.

What’s the opportunity?
We’re inviting proposals from our partner universities (or consortiums) for a £30,000 funding pot to establish and lead this Network during an initial pilot phase.

The Network will:

• Lead advocacy and engagement with policymakers
• Act as a hub for knowledge exchange and best practice
• Tackle issues such as institutional Islamophobia, exclusion from HE policy frameworks, and equality gaps affecting British Muslims
• Drive systemic change through research, convening, and leadership
