Policy internships programme

Sayeeda Warsi

Calling All British Muslims interested in Politics and Policy work!

The Aziz Foundation is proud to be offering a programme for those committed to developing careers in policy and politics. Part of the programme will see internships at a range of MP’s offices which will deliver paid experience. Successful candidates will be working with Members of Parliament in either their constituency or parliamentary team (or both!). They will be exposed to a range of work including casework, research, preparing parliamentary documents and more. The intern will be paid at the London Living Wage and the internship can run from 3-12 months, either full or part-time.

The programme aims to empower British Muslims to participate actively in public life and ensure our perspectives are heard and valued. You will gain hands-on experience and make invaluable connections that will enable you to break into the sector.

The logistics (duration, part time/full time, responsibilities etc.) of the internship will vary depending. Please read the specific job descriptions for the MPs participating in the programme.
