I have a background working in human rights and environmental justice, with a particular focus on indigenous approaches to forest restoration.

Through the MSc in Global Development at SOAS, I aim to deepen my understanding of systemic inequalities and development frameworks. The course will equip me with the analytical tools to shape policy and lead initiatives that uplift marginalised communities. My long-term goal is to ensure that no part of the British Muslim community is left behind, particularly in the face of climate challenges.

I aspire to drive inclusive, climate-resilient policies that reflect the cultural and geographic diversity of British Muslims, contributing to a more just and equitable society.
