Shadman Chowdhury

I am a writer, environmentalist, and organiser with a passion for our natural world and climate justice. My interests include sustainable living, emerging technologies, and the utilisation of these tools for the benefit of the common worker.

The MSc Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Sheffield follows my undergraduate degree in International Relations at the University of Essex, where I formed the foundation of my beliefs. Taking a local as well as systemic angle, I hope to be active in the fight against climate collapse through political action and the planning profession.

Currently, I am compiling a research project on the social utility of managed green spaces in urban environments, with specific focus on Muslim communities in Essex.
