I am a Specialist Data Engineer working in public sector consulting. I began my career at eighteen as a degree apprentice and have over six years of experience in data and AI.
Alongside this, I chaired BT’s Muslim Network and co-founded ACE Insights, a social mobility organisation that has guided hundreds of young people into apprenticeships. That work has taken me to Downing Street and earned a Department for Education Special Recognition Award alongside other industry awards.
I am passionate about social mobility, leadership and building technology that serves people well. I aim to use my MSc in Software Engineering at Oxford to establish myself as a leader in data and AI and to open that field to more British Muslims.
