The Aziz Foundation is delighted to announce that it will be offering Master’s scholarships at University of Nottingham, where talented British Muslims can receive a scholarship to undertake postgraduate study.

The University of Nottingham has become one of the Foundation’s Preferred Partners, having demonstrated their commitment in extending Widening Participation to postgraduate level as well as providing social support to its Muslim student population. The institution is also strongly determined to eliminate the degree awarding gap by 2030 – a goal that is incorporated within its institutional Race Equality Charter.

The University’s extensive faith provision includes employing three Muslim Chaplains and integrating prayer rooms on every campus. The institution is also committed to combating Islamophobia through its online platform, ‘Report and Support’, for students and staff to report racial harassment. Moreover, it has also been awarded the Bronze Race Equality Charter status, which recognises excellence in strategies to tackle racial inequality.

We look forward to working closely with the university to widen access and increase opportunities at the postgraduate taught level for British Muslim communities.

Applications will open on 9th January 2023. For more information click here.
