Preferred Partners in Focus: Eden Project learning

Eden Project Learning (EPL), an educational partnership between The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) and the Eden Project, is committed to increasing access to postgraduate study in sustainability for British Muslims. Intent on improving social mobility through widening participation, the institution recruits a higher proportion of local students than many HE providers and has set institutional targets to improve recruitment of BAME learners by 2025.

Located in Cornwall, EPL offers small group sizes and a high level of tutor support. Additionally, it offers unconscious bias training for staff, among a range of other training aimed at developing a campus-wide culture of inclusion.

EPL is working to promote sustainability education. To encourage British Muslims to consider pathways in this sector, EPL is offering a postgraduate course in MSc Land and Ecological Restoration to increase visibility of British Muslims in this field. The course welcomes applicants from non-science backgrounds.
