I am a British Pakistani journalist specialising in race and diversity, and also a former news presenter. I am the author of the children's book, Pakistan, I’ll Be Back.

I was the recipient of the British Muslim Awards 2022 in the Media Achievement of the Year category.

I hope to obtain a Masters in South Asian Area studies at SOAS university of London so that I can better understand the politics and history of South Asia, and how it impacts the diaspora living in the UK.
