I’m grateful to the Aziz Foundation for the opportunity to pursue an MSc in Politics and International Relations at SOAS.
SOAS’s global and critical approach to politics offers a unique chance to study international systems through both realist and decolonial perspectives, with a strong focus on the Global South. I aim to strengthen my analytical thinking, deepen my understanding of global governance, and develop key skills such as policy analysis, briefing, risk assessment, and data-informed policymaking.
My long-term goal is to enter politics and contribute to policymaking that delivers tangible, lasting outcomes that empower British Muslim communities. For me, representation means translating presence into meaningful influence that drives social change.
