am honoured to have been awarded the Aziz Foundation Scholarship. With five years of experience as a DevOps Cloud Engineer in the cybersecurity industry, I have seen how AI can be used alongside DevOps workflows to drive automation.
As a technical co-founder at ZakatFlow, a pre-seed fintech SaaS providing enterprise-grade Zakat automation and observability to Muslim businesses, I recognised the broader potential of AI in building and digitising solutions for Muslims.
These experiences inspired me to pursue an MSc in Computer Science with AI, with the aim of establishing myself as a Muslim leader in AI, building AI-driven solutions for Muslims and engaging critically with areas such as AI ethics and responsibility.
