Yasmin Ali

After completing a Law and Politics degree at Queen Mary University of London, I am keen to continue my legal education with the LLM LPC at the University of Law.

This course will enable me to become a positive representative for Muslims and contribute to society as a solicitor working on human rights and civil liberties. I have shown a commitment to assisting vulnerable clients in realising their rights from working at Salusbury World, a charity supporting refugees in London.

Likewise, I have volunteered as a caseworker at my university's Legal Advice Centre. I am currently part of the Patchwork Masterclass programme, and I am interested in working at the intersections of law, politics and public policy.

Ultimately, I share the Aziz Foundation's goal of raising standards and aspirations in British Muslim communities.
