Preferred Partner University of Warwick is one of the Aziz Foundation's preferred partners. They share our core values and actively promote Widening Participation at the postgraduate level.

Preferred Partners in Focus: university of warwick

The University of Warwick has developed a ‘life-cycle approach’ to Widening Participation, in which it seeks to support students throughout their studies, and beyond, into employment or further study.

The institution has collaborated with IntoUniversity to set up a local learning centre in Coventry.  Warwick offers an innovative programme that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to attain either a university place or another chosen aspiration. In 2019 the University launched the Warwick Scholars programme, supporting students from underprivileged backgrounds from school into, and throughout, University study.

The University acknowledges the effects of unconscious bias on students, staff, recruitment and degree awarding. It offers advanced unconscious bias training as part of the core training package for staff, among a range of other resources and training geared towards developing an inclusive campus environment.
